LNMU UG 1st Merit List – Lalit Narayan Mithila University Darbhanga has released the first merit list for admission to four year undergraduate courses in the session 2024-28 on the official website. From 2023, four year undergraduate course has been started in all the universities of Bihar. Mithila University has released the first selection list for admission in BA, B.Sc, B.Com under CBCS (Choice Based Credit System). According to the notice issued by the university, the first merit list for admission in graduation session 2024-28 has been released today i.e. 20th June 2024. The provisional list was released on 7th June 2024 and the opportunity to correct the online application form was given from 8th to 9th June

LNMU UG 1st Merit list Download

The last date for online application for admission in session 2024-28 in Mithila University Darbhanga was 31 May 2024, but the university extended the online application date till 05 June. In some subjects more applications than seats have been received, while in some subjects very few applications have been received. Most applications have been received in the history subject. The total number of applications is more than 1 lakh 51 thousand. Some students only registered, they did not fill the form completely. Some mistakes and some confusion were also noticed in filling the online application form.

The university also released the provisional merit list so that students can check their information and make online corrections (if any), however, the name of the major subject cannot be changed.

The first selection list for admission in the first semester of four-year undergraduate first semester (session 2024-28) in LNMU could not be released till Wednesday. It was told that there was a delay in releasing the list due to the time taken to calculate the reservation again to prepare the selection list in the light of the gazette published by the state government regarding giving 65 percent reservation after the caste census.

Today the university has released the first merit list. Lalit Narayan Mithila University Darbhanga has released the first merit list for admission to four year undergraduate courses in the session 2024-28 on the official website. From 2023 four year undergraduate course has been started in all the universities of Bihar. This course will be completed in total 8 semesters i.e. 4 years. If you want to take graduation honours with research degree, then you have to study for the whole 8 semesters. If you just want to take a simple Honours degree, then you can leave after studying for 6 semesters i.e. 3 years.

UG 1st Semester Admission Fee

For graduation, a uniform fee has now been kept in all the universities of Bihar. Semester wise admission fee details are given below.

• Admission Fee (Semester 1st) - Rs 2255 /-
• Examination Fee - Rs.600 /- per semester
• Registration fee - Rs 600 /-
• Lab fee Rs. 600/- per semester for the subject having practical classes (Science, Geography, Psychology, Home Science, Music, ..)
• Fee for UG Certificate / UG Diploma / UG Degrees / UG Degrees Honours with research will be rupees Rs. 600/-(Six hundred) per each.
• Apart from this there is no charge
