LNMU UG (BA, BSC, BCOM) Admission
The process of admission in the first semester of 4 year graduation course BA (Bachelor of Arts), BSc (Bachelor of Science), BCom (Bachelor of Commerce) in LNMU Darbhanga is starting from 20th April 2024. As you know that now the graduation course in all the universities of Bihar has been made 4 years and now the semester system has been implemented, which means now you will have to give 2 examinations in a year (half yearly examination). So now you will get admission in Semester 1 and not in Part 1. For admission in 1st semester, you will be able to fill the online application form from 20th April, you can apply online till 29th May with no late fee. You will be able to fill the online form on 30th and 31st May with late fee. A fee of Rs 500 has been kept for filling the online form. If you fill the form after May 29, you will have to pay a late fee of Rs 200.

Our advice (keep these things in mind before applying online)
Since this is a 4-year undergraduate course and will run under the CBCS system, a semester exam will be conducted by the university every 6 months and an internal exam will be conducted in the college before each semester's exam. In such a situation, you have to read and practice the syllabus of your subject regularly.
- First of all, in any college you want to take admission, there should be a library (in a good condition) in it so that you can easily get your syllabus books and do not face much problem in studies.
- If the college is close to your home then it will be better
- Ask an acquaintance about that college, whether your subject teacher is there or not.
- Before choosing your subject, know about your interest and future scope in that subject.

- After that you will get some information like:
- Your full name (as it appears in class 10th certificate)

- Program (Choose BA, BSc, or BCom)
- Nationality
- After filling the correct information, tick all the options below.
- Then click on "Sign Up"
- Step 2: An OTP (verification code) will be sent to your mobile number
- After entering the code, click on "Verify".
- Step 3: After verification, click on "Candidate Login"
- Login by entering the details (Application ID, Password)
- After login, the information you fill will appear
- Click on "Next Step"
- Step 4: Enter your personal information, Aadhaar number and address etc.

UG 1st Semester Admission Fee
For graduation, a uniform fee has now been kept in all the universities of Bihar. Semester wise admission fee details are given below.
- Admission Fee (Semester 1st) - Rs 2255 /-
- Examination Fee - Rs.600 /- per semester
- Registration fee - Rs 600 /-
- Lab fee Rs. 600/- per semester for the subject having practical classes (Science, Geography, Psychology, Home Science, Music, ..)
- Fee for UG Certificate / UG Diploma / UG Degrees / UG Degrees Honours with research will be rupees Rs. 600/-(Six hundred) per each.
- Apart from this there is no charge
Semester 1 Subject Details
- Before 2023, the study of Honors subject and General subject used to be separate, but now the study of General subject has been abolished.
- Now the candidate will choose any one subject (of his stream) from Arts, Science, Commerce as his major subject. After completion of studies, the student will get the degree of Honors in this major subject.
- Major subject is like an honors subject, minor subject and interdisciplinary subject is like a subsidiary subject.
- In the second and third semesters, there will be paper for AEC (Ability Enhancement Course), SEC (Skill Enhancement Course), and VAC (Value Added Course) but the options (subjects) inside them will be different from the first semester.
- There will be a Mid Semester Test in the form of Internal Examination (CIA) in each paper followed by University Level Written Examination (External Examination) (ESE) at the end of the semester
