Students of Darbhanga, Madhubani, Samastipur and Begusarai who have passed from Mithila University go to the university to get their degree and submit applications but they do not get their work done on time. Applications are submitted many times for the same work by the students, yet they have to keep visiting the university for months.

After submitting the application and documents, no receipt or Slip is given to the students, due to which the students are left with no basis or proof and due to no proof, the students cannot claim the application submitted in the university. Students suffer the most due to the negligence and incompetence of the university's data agency.

A few days ago, the university has issued a notice saying that students can now submit applications to solve their problems in their college itself, so that they will not have to face the trouble of traveling to and from the university. Some students also have problems with this because they Want to take admission outside or need a certificate for a job (Urgent).

When there is an urgent need, their compulsion takes them to the university.

Facility of online grievance form (for complaint) has also been provided for PG students, by filling this form students can submit their problem to the university for which they will not need to go anywhere and their work will take 4 to 5 days. It will be done within days.

From 2021, the university also charges the students for mark sheet and certificate while filling the examination form but still the students have to submit some extra money to get their work done on time.

It is said that the degree/certificate/marksheet has been sent to the college and department.

Although notices are issued saying that the degree/marksheet or certificate has been sent to the colleges and departments, but barring a few exceptional sessions, nothing is received in the colleges. It seems as if the officers/Staffs and babusaheb of the university want the students to come, pay obeisance to them and present some tribute(Extra Fees) only then their work will be done.

Notoriety even outside Bihar

When the students after passing out from here go to another state for job or admission and they are told that what kind of university is yours which does not give degree for 10-10 years, then the university gets a bad name even outside the state.

A separate counter has been opened in LNMU for distribution of original certificates but neither the students nor the employees get the benefit of it. Students are being exploited due to their collusion with middlemen.

This is how you get a certificate

When students go to the branch, they are sent to the counter and the staff sitting at the counter say that your certificate is not ready yet, in such a situation what should a student do. Then some middlemen come who catch such students and take a thousand or two thousand rupees from them and within a few hours their certificate is ready.
