LNMU Session 2023-27 Sem 1 Exam Date - Lalit Narayan Mithila University Darbhanga has released the external or final exam date of Sem 1 of 4 year graduation course BA/B.Sc/B.Com. LNMU Darbhanga has officially released the exam routine for 1st semester of session 2023-27. The exam is going to start from 18th December 2023. All the information about exam center and exam is given below.
"ललित नारायण मिथिला यूनिवर्सिटी दरभंगा ने ४ साल के ग्रेजुएशन कोर्स बीए/बीएससी/बीकॉम के सेमेस्टर १ के एक्सटर्नल या फाइनल परीक्षा की तिथि जारी कर दी है। LNMU दरभंगा ने सेशन २०२३-२७ के १ सेमेस्टर का परीक्षा रूटीन ऑफिशियली जारी कर दिया है। परीक्षा 18 दिसंबर २०२३ से शुरू होने जा रही है। एग्जाम सेंटर और परीक्षा की सभी जानकारी निचे दी गयी है। "
LNMU 1st Semester exam Session 2023-27
You must be aware that now from year 2023, the graduation course has become 4 years long. If you want to get an honours degree, you will have to complete Four year's graduation course, whether it is B.A (Bachelor of Arts) or BSc (Bachelor of Science) or B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce). To get an honours degree in any subject, now Four-year graduation is mandatory. 4 Years graduation system has been implemented in the universities of entire Bihar state from the year 2023.
In a four-year course, you have to appear for a total of 8 semester exams. That means 2 semester exams in a year. And before the final exam of every semester, a internal exam is also taken in college.
- The exam which is taken in the college, we call it internal exam and the exam which is taken by the university, for which the exam center and routine is issued by the university itself, we call it external exam. The external exam is the final exam of the semester, that is why it is also called ESE i.e. End Semester exam.
- This means that you will have to give an external exam to complete a semester. Let us assume that every 6 months an exam for one semester will be taken. You can call it a HALF YEARLY EXAM also.
- It is mandatory to appear for both internal and external exams and pass both.
- Internal exams have been conducted in all the colleges of Mithila University and now it is the turn of external exams i.e. final exams.

Question Paper Pattern
- Group A - Objective type Question/MCQs - 10 Question ( Total 20 Marks), Questions of 2 mark each, All questions are compulsory
- Group B - Short Answer type question - 4 Questions to be answered out of 6 Questions, each question carry 5 marks (Total marks : 20)
- Group C - long Answer type questions - 3 Questions To be answered out of 5 Questions, each question carry 10 Marks ( Total Marks : 30)

Semester 1 External exam date session 2023-27 LNMU Darbhanga
The examination routine for the final exam of the first semester of BA/B.Sc./B.Com course of session 2023-27 of Mithila University Darbhanga has been released. Graduation Semester 1 exam is going to start from 18th December 2023. Programme of ESE (END SEMESTER EXAM) of UG Semester 1 is as follows:
Major subject exams will be held from 18th to 20th December. Exams for minor subjects will be held from 21 to 23. Exams for multidisciplinary subjects will be held from 3 to 5 January 2024. Exams for A.E.C subjects will be held from 6th to 8th January. Exams for V.A.C subjects will be held on 9th and 10th January. Exams for S.E.C subjects will be held on 11th and 12th January.
All subjects are divided into 6 groups:
- Group-A : History, L.S.W, Persian, ANTHROPOLOGY
- Group-B : ACCOUNT, H.R.M, Marketing, Political Science, Maithili, Sanskrit
- Group-C : Economics, Geography, Philosophy, ZOOLOGY
- Group-D: Botany, Hindi, Sociology, Urdu, Rular Economics, AIH & C
- Group-E : Psychology, English, Physics, Music and Dramatics
- Group-F : Chemistry, Home Science, Mathematics
- UG Session 2023-27 Semester 1 exam in two shifts, first shift from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and second shift from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
- Only A.E.C subjects will be of 2 hours duration, meaning the exam of A.E.C subjects will be held in the first shift from 9 to 11 am and the second shift from 1 to 3 pm.
