The first merit list was released on June 25, 2026, and admissions to the college were scheduled from June 28 to July 6. For those who were unable to apply, the Samarth portal will be opened for four days, according to a notice issued by the university on July 9, 2026.

LNMU UG 2nd Merit List 2026 Check and Download

In the undergraduate session 2026-30 of Mithila University Darbhanga, admissions were taken in colleges till 6th July 2026 on the basis of the first merit list and today the 2nd merit list has been released for admission on the remaining seats. To view the merit list, you can check the official website of the university lnmu.ac.in or click on the link given below.

After the admission of the 2nd merit list, the Samarth Admission Portal of LNMU will be reopened for 4 days, in which unenrolled/unapplied students will be able to fill the online form.

How to Download LNMU UG 2nd Merit list 2026

1. First, visit the official website "lnmu.ac.in" or directly access the Samarth Admission Portal "https://lnmuadm.samarth.edu.in/index.php/site/index
2. Login with your "Email ID and password"
3. If selected on the merit list (you will see 'seat alloted message on the screen), check the allotment letter
4. Print it
5. Make sure you have clicked on 'Accept Allocation' option and submit the declaration/consent.

• Publication of 2nd selection/Merit list  - 18.07.2026
• Acceptance ends - 24.07.2026
• Counseling-cum-Admission at concerned college from 2nd selection list - 20.07.2026 to 24.07.2026
• Commencement of Classes- 00.07.2026
• Last Date of Updation of Admitted Students’ on Dash Board by Colleges - 25.07.2026

💬Remember - those selected in the first list will have to take admission in the college on the admission date of the second list only, after the date is over, they cannot claim admission nor can they take admission in the second list.

Important Documents list for Admission

1. Downloaded Application form,
2. Downloaded Allotment letter.
3. Matric/10th Marks Sheet and Certificate for Verification of D.O.B. (Original).
4. Intermediate/12th Documents (Admit Card, Marksheet, Certificate) (Original / DigiLocker).
5. TC/SLC/CLC Certificate (Original).
6. Certificate related to reserved category including Physically Challenged (more than 40%) and E.W.S (if applicable).
7. Affidavit from Notary for Gap Year (if applicable).
8. Four Recent Coloured Passport size Photographs
9. Aadhar Card.

NOTE: One set of photocopies of the above certificates arranged in the same order.

Additional Documents may required for Verification - 

1. Migration Certificate, Original (not required for Bihar Board (BSEB) Students)
2. Caste Certificate (where applicable)
3. Income Certificate (as filled in the form)
4. Other Required Documents as per the college notice

• Note: All documents must be brought in original and a photocopy. 
• And Carry the same documents/Details that you have uploaded while filling the online admission form.

UG 1st Semester College Admission Fee

• Admission Fee (Semester 1st) - Rs 2255 /-
• Lab fee (Practical) Rs. 600/- per semester for the subject having practical classes (Science, Geography, Psychology, Home Science, Music, ..)

Note : for Girls of All Categories and Boys and Girls of SC/ST Categories there is no fee i.e admission is free for such students although there may be nominal fee in some colleges around 200-500 depends on the college type
