LNMU Part 1 (BA, BSC, BCOM) Admission session 2022-25
However, you must have read in the Newspaper that there may be a delay in the admission of Part 1 Session 2022-25. Still, if you haven't read it yet, let me tell you a few things:
1. If you are waiting to take admission in Mithila University in B.A, B.Sc, B.Com then you have to wait till the month of July.
2. Let us tell you that the university has prepared a new website for admission (it is being told that)
3. It was also said that in the month of June, the company will give a demo of this new website to the university, after seeing the demo website, the university will order to open the online portal.
4. A lot of students are waiting for admission in Part 1 session 2022-25 because Bihar Board has released 12th result, compartmental exams result has also been released, due to which the rush for admission in part 1 is increasing.
5. The number of students for admission is increasing a lot.
6. Here the university has said that the online application for admission in Part 1 can start after the release of CBSE 12th results.

"According to the news, CBSE Class 12th Term 2 result is likely to be released in June last or in July. This means that students may have to wait till the month of July for admission in LNMU Part I 2022." However, it is being said by the university that the online admission site is ready, which will be opened after the CBSE 12th result.

Documents Required For Part 1 Admission
The Applicants should have original document as well as two self attested photocopies of all document which are given below.
- Class 12th Mark sheet
- Class 12th Provisional Certificate/ Original Certificate
- Character Certificate
- Caste Certificate (Wherever applicable), Income and Resident
- OBC (Non Creamy Layer) Certificate
- School leaving (CLC or SLC or TC) and Migration Certificate. Migration will be required for students other than Bihar Board
- Two Passport Size self Attested Photo.
- Intermediate (Class 12) Admit Card (Original)
- Any other document required by University/ College.
How to Apply for Part 1 Admission 2022
The notice for filling the online form for admission in Part 1 will be issued by the university (in July)
- 1. Read the admission notice carefully
- 2. Take all the information carefully from the official website of Mithila University @ lnmu.ac.in
- 3. Once the online application starts, you can fill the form yourself or from any cyber cafe
- 4. You will also find the link to fill the online form on our website www.lnmunotes.in (when it will be released)
- 5. Keep the above mentioned documents ready (more documents which will be mentioned in the university notice)
- 6. While filling the form, fill all the information carefully so that you do not face any problem in future.
- 7. First you have to register and create your account, after that you will have to fill the application form, then upload the documents which are being asked, before making the payment, check all the information once again, after that make the payment.
- 8. After the account is created, keep the user ID and password safe with you.
- 9. After making the payment, take a print out of the application form and also get its photocopy done.
- 10. Wait for the merit list for admission

Total number of Seats Available
All the colleges under Mithila University together have 2 lakh 80 thousand seats available. However, there are more seats in some subjects and less seats in some subjects, due to which students face difficulty in admission. In some subjects the seats are left vacant and in some subjects the students do not get any seats.
Now it has to be seen whether any change has been done in the seat this time or not, whatever updates will be there, you will get it on LNMU Notes.

About Lalit Narayan Mithila University Darbhanga
Lalit Narayan Mithila University Kameshwaranagar, Darbhanga is an outcome of long cherished desire of the people of Mithila. Eminent academicians like Dr. Amarnath Jha, Dr. R.C Mazumdar, Dr. A.S altekar, Dr. Sunil Kumar Chaterjee and many other had expressed their views in favor of the establishment of a modern University at Darbhanga. The demand for establishing University was voiced time and again on the floors of the state legislative and in the parliament. On the 27th January, 1947 (Vasant Panchami Day) at a meeting of some of the leading citizens of Darbhanga and Laheriasari, after Darbhanga visit by Late Prof. Binodanand Jha, then the Health and L.S.G Minister, Government of Bihar sometime in January 1947 the Mithila University Committee was constituted.
The Mithila University with its headquarters at Darbhanga was established by an ordinance in 1972 carving out colleges of Darbhanga and Kosi Divisions, from the then two Universities namely Bihar University, Muzaffarpur and Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur respectively.
After the sad demise of Pt. Lalit Narayan Mishra in January, 1975, the name of Mithila University was amended as Lalit Narayan Mithila University. But it was soon reversed to the original name through an ordinance. However, in 1980, the name Lalit Narayan Mithila University was restored through an Ordinance.
