Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga, has released the merit list for 'on-spot admissions into the 4-year undergraduate program (Session 2026–30). Students who selected or updated their college preferences—or submitted new application forms—between September 7 and September 9 for admission to the first semester of BA, BSc, or BCom courses can now view the merit list on the university's official website. "ललित नारायण मिथिला यूनिवर्सिटी, दरभंगा ने 4-साल के अंडरग्रेजुएट प्रोग्राम (सेशन 2026–30) में 'ऑन-स्पॉट एडमिशन' के लिए मेरिट लिस्ट जारी कर दी है। जिन स्टूडेंट्स ने BA, BSc या BCom कोर्स के पहले सेमेस्टर में एडमिशन के लिए 7 सितंबर से 9 सितंबर के बीच अपने कॉलेज की पसंद चुनी या अपडेट की थी—या नया एप्लीकेशन फ़ॉर्म भरा था—वे अब यूनिवर्सिटी की ऑफिशियल वेबसाइट पर मेरिट लिस्ट देख सकते हैं। नीचे आपको LNMU स्पॉट एडमिशन 2026 मेरिट लिस्ट चेक करने का लिंक और कॉलेज एडमिशन से जुड़ी ज़रूरी जानकारी मिलेगी।"

LNMU UG Online Spot Admission Merit list 2026

LNMU Darbhanga issued a notice for "on-spot" admissions to fill seats remaining after the completion of the second merit list process for the 2026–30 undergraduate session. The notice stated that students who had not yet secured admission could log in to the Samarth portal and select one or two college options (details regarding subject-wise seat availability are available on the official website); students who had not previously filled out an application form were also permitted to apply online. This online process was scheduled from September 7 to September 9. The notice also mentioned the subsequent release of a merit list and that admissions would be based on merit. The spot admission merit list has now been released.

How to Download LNMU UG Spot Admission Merit list 2026

1. First, visit the official website "lnmu.ac.in" or directly access the Samarth Admission Portal "https://lnmuadm.samarth.edu.in/index.php/site/index
2. Login with your "Email ID and password"
3. If selected on the merit list (you will see 'seat alloted message on the screen), check the allotment letter
4. Print it
5. Make sure you have clicked on 'Accept Allocation' option (if available) and submit the declaration/consent.

💬Remember - those selected in this list will have to take admission in the college on the admission date of this (spot admission) list only, after the date is over, they cannot claim admission nor can they take admission in the next list.

Important Documents list for Admission

1. Downloaded Application form,
2. Downloaded Allotment letter.
3. Matric/10th Marks Sheet and Certificate for Verification of D.O.B. (Original).
4. Intermediate/12th Documents (Admit Card, Marksheet, Certificate) (Original / DigiLocker).
5. TC/SLC/CLC Certificate (Original).
6. Certificate related to reserved category (caste certificate, income certificate..) including Physically Challenged (more than 40%) and E.W.S certificate (if applicable).
7. Affidavit from Notary for Gap Year (if applicable).
8. Four Recent Coloured Passport size Photographs
9. Aadhar Card.
10. Migration Certificate, Original (not required for Bihar Board (BSEB) Students)

• Note: All documents must be brought in original and a photocopy. 
• And Carry the same documents/Details that you have uploaded while filling the online admission form.

UG 1st Semester College Admission Fee

• Admission Fee (Semester 1st) - Rs 2255 /-
• Lab fee (Practical) Rs. 600/- per semester for the subject having practical classes (Science, Geography, Psychology, Home Science, Music, ..)

Note : for Girls of All Categories and Boys and Girls of SC/ST Categories there is no fee i.e admission is free for such students although there may be nominal fee in some colleges around 200-500 depends on the college type
