LNMU UG Session 2023-27 2nd Semester Exam
The examination of the Second semester of BA/BSC/B.COM based course on 4th year CBCS system of Lalit Narayan Mithila University Darbhanga is going to start from 23 September 2024. According to the official notice and to maintain the examination calendar the exam is going to be held in the month of September. You all know that the session is already running late, the result of the second semester has also been declared in other universities of Bihar and the third semester has already started. L. N. Mithila University has released the official notice for second semester exam in September 2024. The examination of session 2023-27 2nd semester will held form 23 September 2024.
You must have known that from 2023 onwards graduation will be of 4 years which will have 8 semesters. Every semester you will have to give one internal examination and one external examination. Internal examination is that which is taken in college or its full marks is 30. There is an external examination which is conducted by the university which is of 70 marks. The university will release the exam routine for external examination and your admit card will also be released. You will have to go to the exam center and appear for all the papers.
You will have to pass both internal or external tests and then your final result will be clear.
The exam you gave in college was called internal exam or mid semester exam, now the exam you are going to give will be called external exam (final exam of semester 2) and this exam will be taken by the university and its question paper will also come from the university.
Important for Semester 2 Students : Promotion Criteria
- From Semester-II to Semester-III - Attended all courses in Semester-I and Semester II as a regular student and sent up** for the Semester-II examination.
- The candidate must earn at least 28 credits of Semester-I and II taken together in MJC, MIC, MDC, AEC & V AC.
What is Credit and how it is calculated ?
- Credit: A unit by which the course work is measured. It determines the number of hours of instructions required per week. One credit is equivalent to one hour of teaching (lecture or tutorial) or two hours of practical work/field work per week.
