LNMU UG Admission 2025-29 new online apply date (last chance), vacant seat check @lnmu.ac.in

This is the last chance to apply for admission to Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU), Darbhanga, for the 2025-29 undergraduate session. Students who have not yet secured admission to any college can fill out an online application form for admission to vacant seats, for which the university has issued a notice. LNMU UG Admission new date 2025

Mithila University issued a notice stating that after the completion of the second round of spot admissions for admission to the first semester of the undergraduate session 2025-29, a list of remaining seats will be released and new applications will be invited for those seats. The list of vacant seats was released on 25/09/2025 and new applications will be accepted online from 26 to 27.09.2025.

This process will be based on the first-come, first-served basis.

"मिथिला विश्वविद्यालय ने एक नोटिस जारी कर बताया है कि स्नातक सत्र 2025-29 के प्रथम सेमेस्टर में प्रवेश हेतु स्पॉट एडमिशन के दूसरे राउंड की प्रक्रिया पूरी होने के बाद, शेष सीटों की सूची जारी की जाएगी और उन सीटों के लिए नए आवेदन आमंत्रित किए जाएँगे। रिक्त सीटों की सूची 25/09/2025 को जारी की गई थी और नए आवेदन 26 से 27.09.2025 तक ऑनलाइन स्वीकार किए जाएँगे। यह प्रक्रिया पहले आओ, पहले पाओ के आधार पर होगी।"

• Admission in college: 06.10.2025 to 07.10.2025

Documents List for admission

The documents that you will need at the time of admission in college are given below, keep original and photo copies of all the documents ready.

• Intermediate/10+2 Admit Card 
• Intermediate/10+2 Marksheet
• Intermediate/10+2 Provisional/Original Certificate
• CAF (Common Application form) - Common Application Form is the form that you applied online for admission, a photocopy of that form
• Selection Letter/list
• Caste certificate 
• Transfer certificate/CLC original 
• Migration certificate ( for CBSE or other Board Students)
• Economical weaker Section Certificate/EWS (Wherever Applicable)
• Aadhaar Card 
• Any other Documents Required by the Colleges

UG 1st Semester College Admission Fee

• Admission Fee (Semester 1st) - Rs 2255 /-
• Lab fee (Practical) Rs. 600/- per semester for the subject having practical classes (Science, Geography, Psychology, Home Science, Music, ..)

Note : for Girls of All Categories and Boys and Girls of SC/ST Categories there is no fee i.e admission is free for such students 

Although there may be nominal fee in some colleges around 200-500 depends on the college type

How to apply online

First of all you have to go to this link "https://lnmuniversity.com/ugentrance25/commingRound_2529_new/userlogin.aspx"

• Step 1: First of all CLICK ON "SIGN UP FOR NEW APPLICATION"

1. After that you will have to fill some information like:
2. Your full name (as it appears in class 10th certificate)
3. mobile number
4. Email ID
5. gender
6. date of birth
7. Program (Choose BA, BSc, or BCom)
8. Nationality
9. After filling the correct information, tick all the options below.
10. Then click on "Sign Up"

• Step 2: An OTP (verification code) will be sent to your mobile number

1. After entering the code, click on "Verify".

• Step 3: After verification, click on "Candidate Login"

1.   Login by entering the details (Application ID, Password)
2. After login, the information you fill will appear
3. Click on "Next Step"

• Step 4: Enter your personal information, Aadhaar number and address etc.

Click on "Save and Next"

• Step 5: Upload Documents

1. class 12th mark sheet
2. caste certificate (if required)
3. Photo
4. signature
5. "Click on Next"

• Step 6: Fill qualification details

1. Select the stream (Science, Arts, Commerce) in which you have passed class 12th
2. Fill the details of your 12th marks
3. Select program (Arts, Science or Commerce)
4. Choose your major subject (Honors subject)

• Step 7: Choose college and minor subject

1. Choose the name of only one colleges of your choice
2. Choose your minor subjects (subsidiary subjects) - not available in special round/spot round admission

• Step 8: Payment (Click "Pay fee")

1. Login to your account again and submit the online application fee.
2. Online application fee is Rs.700 for all categories
3. Take a print out of your online filled form and also take a photocopy
