Admission will be closed in 2 year B.Ed course?

If you want to become a teacher then you have to do 2 years B.Ed degree or diploma, you can take admission in B.Ed after completing your graduation or you can do diploma after 12th class. But, now under the new education policy, preparations have been started to close the 2-year course for B.Ed degree.

2 साल का बीएड कोर्स बंद किया जायेगा, अब सिर्फ BA+B.Ed, B.SC +B.Ed और B.COM +B.Ed कोर्स ही चलेगी 

Now only 4 years integrated B.Ed will run in all the colleges.

Before the year 2030, the 2-year B.Ed course will be closed. Now only the four-year Integrated Teacher Education Program (ITEA) will run. Colleges running general courses will also be able to apply for this. NCTE has started its preparation. Curriculum and syllabus have been sought from 57 institutions including some Central Universities, State Universities.

How will admission be taken?

National Common Entrance Test will be taken for admission in 4-year B.Ed (BA + B.Ed, B.Sc + B.Ed, B.Com + B.Ed) course. National Testing Agency (NTA) will take the exam.

Colleges teaching general courses will also be able to teach this course, they will have to apply to NCTE. Now teachers with BA, B.Sc and B.Com will also be there in the college with B.Ed course.

Now after graduation or PG, B.Ed course will not have to be done, along with graduation in this course, students will get B.Ed degree. Students who want to become teachers should be brought in only after 12th, this is the purpose of this course.
